Massive steel work extending up to the seventh story has already been erected in connection with the new Wellington East Post Office, which stands out as a skyscraper in a district of two-story buildings at the lower end ot Cambridge Terrace. The need for this Post Office is exemplified every day by the crowds that fail to get accommodation promptly in tbe present premises, which was originally the “front room” of the late Mr James Trevor’s residence. Affiliation to the Wellington Rugby Union was granted the Plimnierton Rugby Football Club at the annual meeting of tb» union last evening.
