HAWKE’S BAY STUDENT
Found Dead in Sydney GAS-FILLED ROOM (Rec. March 15, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, March 15. John L. Maxwell Lefroy, aged 20, described as an engineering undergraduate from the Hawke’s Bay earthquake area, who recently arrived here to take up a course at the university, was found dead in a gas-filled room in the Glebe residential area. The room was sealed and the gas had apparently been on for 24 hours.
