BY-ELECTION RESULT
Conservatives Retain Seat London, March 12. I The Salisbury by-election resulted: — Major De Spencer Robertson (Conservative) 15,800 Mrs. C. F. G. Masterman (Liberal) 9,588 F. R. Hancock (Labour) 3,930 Mr. Hancock forfeits his deposit. The figures for the general election of 1929 were:—Hugh Morrison (C.), 15,672; Mrs. C. F. G. Masterman (L.), 13,022; F. A. Hancock (Lab.), 4435.
