Wages and Days Worked FIGURES AT WANGANUI Wanganui, March 18. Working under the No. 2 scheme for the relief of unemployment, 575 men 1 have worked a total of 2402 days \Vanganui, and have received £798/4/8 m wages. nt From a grant to the City Council of £250, 284 men worked 355 days, and received £249/18/-. in wages. Under the No. 5 scheme 2276 men worked 0572 days and were paid £4398/8/-, making a total 6i £5446/3/4 paid out under the scheme. Amounts paid out by employers under the No. 2 scheme totalled £798/4/8. The total wages paid out under these grants was £6244/8/-.
