DOCTOR SENT TO PRISON
Admits Serious Charges Dominion Special Service Auckland, March 12. Having pleaded guilty to six charges of wilful and obscene exposure, Dr. John Spreull Currie, 34 years, of age, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment on one charge and convicted and discharged on the others. The magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt, said he would leave entirely to the prison authorities the question of the accused receiving the treatment by a specialist he desired during his imprisonment.
