Match and Helmet Contests The events set down for decision at the KUitirnie Stadium Speedway to-morrow night make up a programme which should account for one of the best meetings that has ever taken place in Wellington. Among the special attractions will be » final contest between Mattson (Auckland) and Kilmlster (Wellington). , In the NJZ. championship at Auckland on Wednesday, Mattson was successful, but it was reported that Kilmlster was unluckv. The latter will be all out to turn tbe tables to-morrow night, when superloritv will be determined on the best two out of three” basis. Both riders are in great form this season, and both are to go to England, so that this tlnal meeting between the two should be a memorable one. Among other competitors at the meeting will be the Mitchell twins, of South Australia, who are in the first flight of Australian riders. Clem Mitchell represented Crystal Palace in England All told there will be six riders selected to represent New Zealand in the Tests competing on Saturday night. There will be a contest for the Golden Helmet, and the biggest handicap ever decided on the local track. With twenty-four entries for the handicap, six heats will be necessary.
