‘CROQUET TOURNEY

Provincial Meeting GOOD PROGRESS MADE The eleventh Wellington provincial croquet tournament was continued on the Kelburn, Karori, Wellington, THataitai, Island Bay and Mount Victoria lawns yesterday. The weather was fine until late in the afternoon and good progress was made with the various results. The handicap doubles is now well advanced, while a start has been made on both lives of the women’s championship singles, the level singles, and the club pairs. From to-day until the end of the tournament iJny 'will be confined to the Kelburn, Wellington and Hataitai lawns. The results in de.tail are as follow:— HANDICAP DOUBLES.
