NO SERIOUS DAMAGE

Tarandki Plane’s Landing

When Mr. Brian Haybittie, of Hawera. landed in a Moth plane at the Bell Block aerodrome on Saturday afternoon, he came down heavily on one wheel, damaging the lauding; gear. Mr- S. Nielson, secretary of the Western Federated Flying Club, states that the report that the damage was extensive is an exaggeration, as repairs were not long in being effected. Mr. Havbittle took off again in the same machine soon afterwards, and wa« in the air for ten minutes. He made a good landing, causing no further damage.
