Masterton, February 2. Four rinks from the Masterton Park Bowling Club played friendly matches with the Carterton Club at Carterton on Saturday. Carterton won all four games. The final of the Masterton Club s championship pairs competition was , completed on Saturday: Hayne and Lett (b.) beat B. Welch and Finlayson (s.). The losers having two lives, however, they played Hayne and Lett again and defeated them. The present holders of the Mutne Cup, T T. Denbee and E. W. Nielsen (s.), of the Masterton Club, have received a challenge from F. O'Connor and Rowlands (M. of the Park Club. The game will be played on Thursday afternoon. Inter-club Games Sluinnon, February 2. Ideal weather prevailed on Saturday afternoon, when the Shannon Bowling Club tvas favoured with a visit from live rinks of Levin bowlers.
