Manly Endurance Contest
OTHERS FOLLOWING ON

The endurance swim at the Manly baths continues to attract attention. The three remaining competitors who entered the water on Saturday retired to-day; Henderson after 38 hours 10 minutes, Morris after 35 hours 10 minutes, and Jefferson after 29 hours 45 minutes. Others have taken their places. The other initial entrant, Charles Zimmy, the American legless champion, became ill on Sunday, and bad to retire. He was lifted from the water. Miss Gleltze and Miss Coppiestone will begin In the middle of the week.
