Tho following rinks have been chosen to represent the Manawatu Bowling Centre in matches with the touring Australian bowlers at the Palmerston North Bowling Club’s greens on Wednesday afternoon :—A. Cooksiey, P. Larcomb, E. Anderson, N. H. Nash (s.); J. B. Gerrand, E. Goodbehere, R. Ramsay, J. Bartholomew (s.). Manson and Barr Cup. A rink of bowlers from the Terrace End Club visited Pahiatua on Saturday and were successful in taking tlie Manson and Barr cup from the Pahiatua club. Pearce, Uelsby, Duncalf, Moffatt (s.), Terrace End, 23, beat Hogg, Russell, Bissett, Britiaqd (s.), Pahiatua, 14. Dixon Cup. The Woodville Bowling Club was successful in defending tlie Dixon Cup and the Tucker Bros.’ badges from a challenge by the Oroua Bowling Club on Saturday afternoon. Mules. L. Skinner, M. Pickering. Horne (s.), Woodville, 22, beat Simpson, McLean, Aitken, Ingram (s.), Oroua, 14. Palmerston Beat Woodville. Six rinks from the Palmerston North Bowling Club visited Woodville on Saturday afternoon to indulge in a series of friendly games. Palmerston North won tlie match by 108 points to Woodville’s 101. '
