Hastings, December 12. The match between the Palmerston North and Napier High Schools was continued at Napier to-day, and resulted in a win for Palmerston by four wickets. Palmerston, batting first, made 209, and at the drawing of stumps yesterday Napier had five down for 20; continuing today, Napier reached 71 (Allen 20; Simpson 16, and Reaney 13). ' Napier followed on and did much better in the second innings, which produced 245 runs (Reanev 88, Mahoney (H, Simpson 30, McPhee 24, Stephens 17). Palmerston were left with 50 to get, antr easily reached its objective with a loss of six wickets.
