Wreath to Sir Joseph Ward's Memo. —At Bluff yesterday afternoon the Hon. P A. de la Perrelle laid a wreath on tlie grave of the late Rt. Hon. Sir Joseph Ward on behalf of tbe Canadian Club.
1932 Royal Show.—Tbe Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association decided at its meeting in Palmerston North on Monday to apply to the Royal Show Society to have the Royal Show for 193held ut Palmerston North, reports a “Dominion” Special Service message. A resolution on these lines was carried unanimously.
Donovan to Box Reekie.— The Manawatu Boxing Association, reports a “Dominion” Special Service message from Palmerston North, has decided to match Tommy Donovan, of Waitara, nnd Johnnie Leckie, of Napier, in a fifteen round., contest at catch weights for a purse of £2OO on Boxing Night or the night following.
