BRIGHT, SUNNY DAY
Yesterday’s Weather The weather was fine and warm in Wellington yesterday. The morning was dull, but the sun shone brightly in the afternoon. The wind was light from the north. . Fine weather with cloudy conditions prevailed at Auckland yesterday. The temperature was much warmer than it had been for a long time owing to the wind having changed from the southwest to the north. The barometer was steady at 30.00 in. Though there was a good deal of cloud at Christchurch yesterday the weathei was warm and pleasant, with a moderate breeze from the north-east. The maximum temperature was 60 degrees. rhe barometer, after falling slowly all day, showed a rising tendency, last evening a reading being 29.90. The weather was fine and pleasant at Dunedin, the sun shining from p cloudless sky. The wind was light from the north-east and the maximum ten-, pcrature was 72 degrees at midday. Th* barometer showed a slight falling ten • dency, the reading last evening being 29.80 in.
