CAPSIZE OF STEAMER
Shanghai, December 7.
Three hundred Chinese were drowned ®n the Yangtse River, near Hankow, when the native steamer Bientam, on a voyage to Changsha, foundered. The passengers became panic-stricken on th® overloaded, jossel, which capsized.
