NURSING GUILD

Arrangements for the Christmas treat for the sick poor whom the Nursing Guild of St. John look after were made at the committee meeting the other day. A full dinner is to be given to each household the nurses visit, and a great manv donations of money were received for that purpose. Plum puddings were also promised in plenty. In the nurses’ report 15 patients were admitted during November, 6 discharged, 201 visits paid to patients’ homes, 232 visits to surgery, those remaining on the register 38 and 2 sent, to Ewart Ward, the number on the register being 6073.
