Sydney, December 8. The Newcastle boxer Roy Burns (Ost. 91b.), who has recently beaten Heeney, Roberts and Malcolm, forced a fight against the Sydney boxer Allan Edgecock (Ost. 91b.), and gained the decision in the sixth round after a willing bout in which the loser was punished severely, but stood up gamely to the task. At Newcastle, Billy Thomas (list. 11b.) (Wales) defeated Jimmy Pearce (Newcastle) (list. 51b.) on points in 15 rounds. BOUT IN BOSTON New York, December 7. At Boston. Risko gained a decision over Jimmy Maloney.
