Branch Activities At a recent meeting of the Marton branch of the. women’s division of the Farmers’ Union it was reported that £35 10/- was realised at its recent “shop day” held in aid of the division funds. The Wanganui branch reports that it has about £5O as the result of its “shop dav” held on Friday in Wanganui. Mesdames D. Simpson (Dominion treasurer) and.W. F. Stevens (president of the Wellington Provincial Council) hape to attend the executive meeting in Dunedin in January. Marton and Hunterville branches at their recent meetings decided to send small Christmas gifts to the Floek House boys and girls living in their districts. Mrs. W. J. Polson, Stratford, will address a meeting of the Wanganui and district committee on Wednesday on the forthcoming farmers’ meeting in Hawera on December 17.
