Plans for Arapuni
STATEMENT EXPECTED By Telegraph.—Press Association. - Auckland, December 5. Something definite regarding the Gov-, ernment’s intentions concerning Arapuni may be expected from the Minister of Public Works . (Hon. W. B. Taverner), soon. During negotiations in Wellington this week, with the chairman of the Auckland Electric Power Board, Mr. Taverner said that in the course of a few days he would make a public statement as to the Government's intentions about the whole scheme.
