The balance-sheet would be published in the near future. The art union for three Nugent Welch pictures, held in connection with the appeal, was drawn at the club yesterday by the president, Mr. A. Jacobs. The' first prize went to ticket No. 13200. which had no name on the butt; the second prize to. ticket No. 3097, held by Mr. Greening, of the Gear Meat Company, Petone; and the third prize to ticket No. 8716, which again had no name on the butt.
