BLENHEIM CLOSE
Air Director’s Flight To leave, Wellington at 11 o’clock in the morning, have dinner at Blenheim, and be back at Rongotai before 3 p.m. was the performance which the Director of Air Services (Wing-Com-mander S. Grant-Dalton) put up on Thursday. He flew a Gipsy Moth, which is a Government loan to the Wellington Aero Chib, intending to conduct license examinations in Blenheim. The Marlborough weather was not suitable, however, when he landed there, and so he returned by air to Wellington.
