MINISTERIAL TOUR
Palmerston Visited Palmerston North. December 5The Minister of Education, the Hon. H. Atmore, arrived in Palmerston North this afternoon after visiting schools in Bulls district. Qpportjijiity was taken by the Nanawatu branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union to send a deputation which waited on him in regard to the future of the Girls’ Flock House at Awapuni. After his arrival, the Minister paid a short viist to the West End School, where he delivered an address to the pupils. This evening Mr. Atmore presided at the Palmerston North Technical School’s annual break-up ceremony, at which gathering ho addressed pupils and presented prizes.
