Motorists’ Certificates SYSTEM OF DUPLICATES London, November 24. The new motor insurance certificates, covering third party risks, are parch-ment-like documents 81 inches by 4J. They define the limitations imposed on all motorists, record tire name of the holder, and the number of bls car. The certificates will be issued in duplicate, one for the car and the other for the driver, who is thus able to drive any car or motor-cycle, while a car can be driven by anybody, with the permission of the policyholder. Two million certificates will be issued before the end of the year, when every motor-cyclist and motorist will be compelled to show his certificate on demand.
