SEAMEN’S DISPUTE
Manning of Two Steamers Referring to the report published yesterday in connection with the dispute between shipowners and the Seamen’s Union as to the manning of the coastal steamers Kapiti and Hawera, Mr. T. , Walsh, president of the Seamen’s Union, states that it is not correct, as stated, that at the end of a month’s trial the matter will be referred to the Arbitration Court.
