The Hon. E. A. Ransom, ActingPrime Minister, has' not improved in liealth, and it is expected he will leave Wellington to-day for a fortnight’s rest. The Hon. J. G. Cobbe, Minister of Defence, will return to Wellington from Feilding to-day. The Hon. A. J. Murdoch, Minister of Agriculture, left for Auckland last evening to attend the opening of the new railway station there. He will visit the Ruakurn State Farm on Tuesday, returning to Wellington on Thursday. The Hon. S. G. Smith. Minister ot Labour, returned to Wellington from New Plymouth on Saturday. Mr. R. Miller, Sydney, is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. T. Reynolds, Hawera, is visiting Wellington. Dr. H. E. Annett, Hamilton, is at the Royal Oak Hotel. Mr. J. Ambrose, Wanganui, is visiting Wellington. Mr. J. J. Corry, Blenheim, is at the Royal Oak Hotel. Mr. J. Mncfarlane, Napier, is at the Royal Oak Hotel. Dr. and,Mrs. Raymond, Waipukuran, are staying at the Royal Oak Hotel. Messrs. E. W. and G. W. Wells, Timaru, are guests at the Grand Hotel. Air. J. Jeffries and Mr. A. 11. Hough. Newcastle, New South Wales, are at the Royal Oak Hotel. Mr. J. K. Carruthers and Mr. J. R. Davidson are Sydney visitors who are at the Royal Oak Hotel. 'Mr. Horaee Fildes, who has been abroad for the past nine months, is returning to Wellington by (lie Uliniiiroii, due to-morrow morning. Mr. 11. S. Blackburn, Wellington secretary for the China Inland Mission for 30 years, is retiring. He will be. succeeded this week by Air. 11. N. Vivian. Mr. A. J. Burton. Am-klnnd. Air. G R.
