KORO KORO ROAD.
Start to be Made To-day Advice has been received by Mr. Walter Nash, M.P., from the Minister of Public Works, Hon. W. B. Taverner, that £BOO has been lodged to the public account by the Petone Borough Council at the Bank of New Zealand, being the council’s proportion of the estimated cost Of widening the Koro Kdro Hill road as unemployed relief work. A start will be made with the- widening of the road to-day with 20 men. An' Officer of the Labour Department was at the Petone Borough Council office last week and selected the men.
