Mr. W. Higgins Nfew Owner Dominion Special Service. Christchurch, November 22. AV. Stone has disposed of his interest in Sight Draft to the Wellington owner, Mr AV. Higgins, anil will continue to train her on his behalf. This filly, who is a sister to Noteworthy, has clone well since coming to Riccarton, and with her marked turn of speed she should win good races under the new colours. Last season she had the distinction of beating Cylinder in the Midsummer Handicap, six furlongs, at Ellerslie, on January 1, and was placed in three of the remaining six starts. , She will be nominated for the Ashburton meeting on December 6, and will accompany Lord Tlioinond, Painkiller and Tray Bond to the Manawatu and Marton meetings at Christmas. The Reefton trainer, A. G.J Griffin, has been at Riccarton since the New Zealand Cup meeting with Ravine and Lady Valkyrie, and intends taking the pair to the Manawatu and Marton holiday meetings. The latter is a two-year-old by Valkyrian from the Potoa mare Black .Eyed Susan. PHAR LAP’S SISTER Mr. A. F. Roberts, of Kaituna, has decided to place Fortune’s Wheel again in training, and this five-year-old mate will shortly join Mrs. J. Campbell's team at Riccarton. Fortune’s Wheel is a sister to Phar Lap. She was raced only on three occasions a"s a two-year-old, and then met with an accident, following which she was mated with Polazel. The result is a most attractive chestnut filly, and the youngster is to form one of Mr. Roberts’s draft for the Trentham sale. Fortune’s Wheel displayed marked ability to gallop before she went out, and it will be interesting to follow her future career. Well Grown Foal.
