DAMAGE BY FIRE
Week-end Outbreaks Through an electric iron being left switched on. an outbreak of fire occurred in a two-storied wooden building of seven rooms, in Todman Street. Brooklyn, at 3.52 p.m. yesterday. There was nobody at home at the time. The occupier of the building, which was slightly damaged, is Mr. G. Bresleaur. The contents of a shop on the ground floor used as a cabinetmaker’s factory were slightly damaged by water. A two-storied wooden residence of seven rooms at 5 Boundary Road. Kilbirnie, owned and occupied by Mr. Alex Wallace, was damaged by fire shortly after 8 o’clock on Saturday morning. The building is insured in the Royal Exchange office for £lBOO, and the contents are insured for £750.
