Mr E. H. Doherty has resigned the secretaryship of the Walrarapa sub-centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, and has been appointed treasurer. Mr. D. M. Hoult, the previous treasurer, has been appointed secretary. The following guests are staying at the Midland Hotel, Masterton:—Mr. and Mrs. Davis, Miss Malcolm, Messrs. Sawyers, Ireland. Murray, Harper, Sagan, Murclock, Bruford, Maxted, Smith, Hannaford, Lee, Schneidemain and Ambrose. Mr. H. Archdeacon Johnson, of Lower Hutt, has been spending a few days at “The Vicarage,” Martinborough. .
