FURTHER LOAN MONEY
* Hutt Power Board Decision Permission was given the engineer and general manager, Mr. E. F. Hollands, by the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board at its last meeting, to take the necessary steps to raise the £30,000 still unexpended of the No. 3 loan of £150,000. “It will be necessary to provide for further moneys for ordinary constructional purposes,” said Mr.; Hollands. “Authority is mow being sought to raise the balance, £30,000, so that moneys will be available to carry on from the end of the present financial year.” “But,” said Mr. Hobbs, “you wilt not want it all at once for the one year.” “Oh, yes we will,” replied Mr. Hollands, "for we are assuming there will be more development work next year.”
