BROKEN BY-LAWS
Offenders Punished Breaches of the by-laws were dealt with by Messrs. JI. I). Bennett and W. A. Kellow, J.l’.’s, in the Police Court yesterday. On a charge of parking a motor-car more than twelve inches from the kerb, John William Lerwlll was lined 10/-. Failure to notify change of ownership of a motor-car cost Sidney Bassin and James Joseph McKenzie 5/- each. William McSloy was fined £1 for not having a driver's license. Charged with leaving Ills motor-car unattended for a longer period than was necessary, Charles Joseph Tottcrdell was fined 15/-. • Driving a motor-truck in a dangerous manner cost Henry L. Hecc £l. On a charge of parking a motor-ear at a tram stop, George William Taylor was lined 10/-. failing to give way at an intersection, Hiro Galal was fined 10/-. Henry Stoupe was fined £3 for driving in a negligent manner. On a similar charge Janies M. Graham was fined £l.
Failure to maintain his position at an intersection cost Harry E. Bolt 5/-.
