ROYAL GARDEN PARTY
Popular Social Function CLOSE OF LONDON SEASON (Rec. July 25, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless. Rugby, July 24. The Royal garden party, which is generally regarded as marking the close of the London social season, was held in the grounds of Buckingham Palace to-day, when 6000 guests attended. The weather has never yet caused a postponement of this popular social function, and to-day, although the skies were overcast, there was no rain.
