Two sumps were constructed of con crete in Main Road, attention had been devoted to the groynes, and all se “weed removed. The second groyne at the southern end was badly damaged early ini the month, but no timber was lost. Otherwise thev were in good order. Work has been done on the recreation ground, principally of a maintenance and tidying nature.
