PORIRUA HARBOUR
Use as Hydroplane Base
Careful consideration is being given by the Government to the development of Porirua Harbour and the foreshore surrounding it, for a hydroplane base, aerodrome, and recreation purposes, with a view to constituting it the chief aviation base and playground in the Wellington district This statement was made by the Post-master-General, Hon. J. B. Donald, when replying in the House of Representatives yesterday to a question asked by Mr. IV. H Field (Ref., Otaki).
