Miss J. Bunny has returned to Masterton from a visit to Dannevirke. where she was staying with her sister, Mrs. Downey. Mrs. P. Bennett, of Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs. Archer Hosking, at Masterton. Nurse Ferguson, of the Wellington Hospital, is staying with her aunt, Mrs. F. Petersen, at Pouatahi. Miss M. Hart, and Mr. U. Hart, of Masterton, have returned from a holiday in FijiMrs. Ashcroft, Wanganui, is visiting her son, Mr. Basil Ashcroft, Marton. Mrs. M. Griffin is a Raetihi visitor to Hamilton. Miss M. Officer, Inglewood, is the guest of Mrs. Bowater, Gonville. Wanganui. Sister Astbury, of the Wanganui Hospital staff, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. Frank Lethbridge returned to Feilding to-day. Mrs. Fisher, who has been the guest of Mrs. G. Fisher, Stark Street, has returned to Otaki. Miss Molly Page, who has been the guest of Sirs. C. V. Powell, Wanganui, has returned to Hawera. Substantial donations have been received for a maternity annexe in connection with the Hawera Hospital. The need for this annexe has been felt for a very long time, and the women’s division of the Farmers’ Union in Hawera have been assisting.
