FOR MENTAL PATIENTS
MONEY FOR GRAMOPHONE Subscriptions amounting to £ll/16/6 for the purchase of a gramophone for the Porirua Mental Hospital have already been received in response to the appeal issued in the correspondence columns on Saturday by Mrs. A. McVicar and Mrs. J. Fraser, official visitors to the institution. The contributions are as follow:— Lady Beauchamp, £5/5/-: “Thanking You,” “Hobson Street,” H. L. Simpson, £1 each; Lady. Myers, Miss Eves, Sympathiser,” Mrs. Farr, 10/- each; Mrs. “K.P.,” “H.L.,” Mrs. Nicholson. Mrs. Tait, 5/- each; “Every Little Helps,” Nctta McKay, “P.M.H.,” 2/6 each; Miss Robbie, Mrs. Batchelor, 2/- each; “Mrs. “B,” 1/-. A dozen gramophone records have been donated by Mr. Guy.
