AN HONOURED PRIEST
LATE MONSIGNOR McKENNA. Masterton. May 15. In the presence of a large congregation, including his Grace Archbishop Redwood and about fifty priests, representing various parts of the archdiocese, the month’s mind to the late Right Rev. Monsignor McKenna was observed yesterday. Solemn requiem mass was celebrated in the morning, the celebrant being the Rev. Father Gynane, assisted by the Rev. Fathers Griffin, Bell and Evans. His Grace, Archbishop Redwood presided in the sanctuary, and at the conclusion of the ceremony pronounced the absolution. Dean Connolly, of Wellington, deliverp<l a panegyric on the late Monsignor McKenna.
