YACHT FOR ZANE GREY
VISIT TO SOUTH ISLAND Advice has been received by the Minister in charge of the Tourist and Publicity Departments (Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle) that the well-known novelist and fisherman, Mr. Zane Grey, will not make his intended visit to the 1 South Island until 1932, although it is ’ his present intention to visit the Do- i minion for fishing at some of the North 1 Island resorts. “We are coming to New Zealand this ’ fall instead of .1931, or, 1 should say, ' in addition to 1931,” says Mr. Grey. ' “The change is owing to the fact that ] I am having my yacht built in Ger- ] many, and she will not be done until 1 June, .1931. We plan to go to Wliltia- ( nga early in December and stay as ( long as the fishing is good. Then we r may go north for a spbll, and finish ( up with a whack at the Tongariro. 1 So the South Island will have to wait I till I get out there with my yacht the following year. This time we will come via Honolulu and Auckland, and will return home from Wellington.”
