NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW

June 17 to 21, 1930, marks another step forward iu the history of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Asoclation. these being the dates for the twenty-eighth annual National Dairy Show. This event has been becoming more popular each vear since its Inception in 1903, until today It stands out on its own in the dairying and commercial world of the Dominion. The show to-day is the result of nearly thirty years of hard work and careful planning on the part of the committee. who feel Justly proud of having achieved something which is looked up to by all New Zealand. The spacious halls are filled each year with farm machinery, motor-cars, dairy appliances, furniture, musical instruments, and samples of all ' astlcles which can be turned out by mod-

ern ingenuity. Competition is provided for the farmer a'nd his wife in the special sections set aside for them in the schedule. These classes comprise cooking, needlework. farmers’ butter, root crops, potatoes and vegetables, seed and grain, fruit, honev, ring competitions, fat sheep, lambs, and "cattle. Schedules for the competitive sections of the show are now ready and will be posted to anyone free upon application to the Secretary, P.O. Box 85, Palmerston North.
