Wild Voyage has not done much racing this season. Logan’s Pride secured a winning bracket at Manawatu, where he won the Cup, tn 4.43 4-5, Later in the day he ran second to Queen Elizabeth in the President s Handicap. of a mile and a quarter, which he covered tn 2.50 3-5. At Carterton in Decumber he was second over ten furlongs in 2,53 2-5, on a somewhat slow track, while 01 the second day be was third over two miles In 4,42 1-5, Qie track being some aecoads faster.

Cora Tacks has not done any good so fir tbip season, though she has made several atteinpts. Last season she was second at Taranaki, going 4.42 2-5. Her best time, however. Is 4.41.

Native Hero has not been raced to any great extent this season. He ran third at Carterton fn December, but Improved upon this at -Wellington last month, when hr won the Railway Handicap from Sandy Pointer, going 3.44 from a 3.40 mark. Last ytar he won at over two miles, going 4.42.

Purser is one of our best youngsters. Ai. Ashburton in September ho was second to Wrackler, his time being 2.54 J-o fo;: 10 furlongs. In November he won the Derby at Addington, registering the brilliant time Of 3.22 1-5. He has failed in hiii last couple of outings, but there is no question as to his ability.

Fair Wave has a win, a dead-heat for second, and a second to her credit, all registered on the New Brighton course. Or Saturday she went two miles in 4.34 3-5, and a mile and a quarter in 2.48 3-5.

Stella commenced the season in a most promising manner, in that she ran second at Addington in August in the smart time ot 4.32 2-5. Since then she has qone little, a first in a mile and a quarter race at Carterton on Boxing Day being the only stake money she has earned.

Ualient commenced the season with a third at New Brighton, covering 12 furlongs in 3,31 2-5, In October he wasi second at Methven, going 3.35 2-5. At Reefton in January he won over 1- fur.ongS in 3.34 3-5. He was also successful here laat month, and followed this up with another winning performance at Plmaru, where he registered 4,38 1-5 for two miles.

Jldbr Logan has done nothing so far this season, though it is only, right •to state that he has done little racing. Last season he started twice. The first race he won was the Selma Trot, of one hiile and, a half, at Ashburton, his time being 321 4-5 In his second outing he beat all but Exclusive in a mile saddle race at the Ashburton winter meeting. His time on that occasion wag 2.16 1-5.

Warepa ran second over 10 furlongs at New Brighton in December, going 2.50 2-5. At Tlmaru in January he was second over the name distance, his time being 2.49 3-5. Lauer in the day he won qver a mile in 2.1tl 3-5,

Roval Bilk, like Purser, is one of the ouAStanding youngsters of the year. He! commenced the season by winning at ysrai dine, registering 3.1 1-5 for ten furlongs. An unsuccessful outing was followed by a second to Purser in the Derby at Addington, in which race he went 3.22 “-o- At Auckland in December he was third to Gfeat Parrish and Ngingpngingo in the Groat Northern Derby. Koro Peter is a splendid young straightout trotter with a record of four wins and a fourth out of six attempts this season. All of his winning performances this year have been registered at Addington, his best tines being 3.23 2-5 for twelve furlongs, anti 4.32 for two miles. It is asking a good bit ot him to take on pacers and concede starts ranging up to 72 yards.

Daddy Longlegs has not raced so far, and he is an unknown quantity.

Lightwood raced twice usuecessfully ■early in the season. He did not race last season.

Royal Wrack is another who has yet to faes the starter.

Wild raced twice unsuccessfully lasi vear and failed in her only outing thin season This was at Wellington in January.

Great d’Oro has one third to his credit. This was registered at the focal meeting in January, when he went 3.4».

Drift Wave has not won- a Trace for a long time. She. however, went a goodrace at the recent Manawatu meeting, finishing second to Little Guy and covering twelve furlongs in 3.33. Little Guy aubsequentiy won a double at Hawke s Bay. Thirteen furlongs is a bit far for Drift Wave, and her prospects read better In the Taita Handicap.

Aehray ran a couple of thirds at Carterton in December, covering twelve furlongs in 3.32 1-5.

June Nordiea won over a mile and a half at the Banks Peninsula meeting on March 1, registering the good time of 3.28 2-5, and winning by three lengths—a very striking performance.

Glenrossle won at the last meeting here, going a very even race, and registering 3.43 2-5 for the thirteen furlongs.; He is a very promising sort.

Richmond Lass, after a number of unplaced performances, registered a see®”" and a third at Manawatu. Co '’ er j n F milss in 4.42 2-5, and thirteen furlongs In 3.33 2-5.

Solitude is an aged gelding. He f ai 'ed to secure any money last season, and nas contested two races unsuccessfully this year.

Jl’atenga has not won a race since the season before last. . ,

Billy Brent ran third to Some Dillon and Victor Kyle at Carterton in December, his time for twelve furlongs being a.w 4-5.

Stiverwood has raced very consistently, having two seconds and three thirds to ucr credit. She was third to Harold Led and Petronlus at the local meeting in January, going 2.55. while she subsequently; van second to Erin's Pointer at Addington in February. She then registered 3.23 l-o for twelve furlongs.

Sea Mist was second at Methven in October. going 3.36 J. while at Ashburton in November she ran third to Millie d uro and Sodium in a mile and a quarter race, going 2.56 2-5. She Is Only a ■three-year-old.

Scar of Hope has done nothing this season. Last year she ran a second at Marlborough, going 2.54'2-5 for ten- furlongs. Alexis ran third at the North. Canterbury meeting in October. Robig thirteen furlongs in 3.51 ‘ 1-5, while a little later he won over two miles. He raced unsuccessfully at the Inst meeting here.

Brentlight won at New Brighton last Saturday, going 3.30 1-5. This is his best performance to date. Wanganui Trotting Club.
