ARMENIAN RUNS AMUCK
FIVE PEOPLE KILLED Marseilles, January 31. Presumably insane owing to domestic worries, Joannes Haroutin, aged 43, an Armenian labourer, ran amuck and killed five people, seriously wounding two others. He then committed suicide, all within ten minutes. He walked out of his lodging, met an Armenian, whom he shot fatally with a revolver. Without a word he rushed back to his home and wounded his wife.' He then entered a neighbour’s and murdered an 85-year-old woman and her two daughters, and dangerously wounding a third. The husband of one is dead. The women ran in meeting the murderer, who fired a bullet through the hearts of each. Haroutin then walked out on to the terrace and blew out his brains
