MAGISTRATE’S COURT
POLICE CASES. Police cases in the Magistrate’s Court on Saturday morning were dealt with by Messrs. I. Salek and D. Keir, J.P.’s. James Burman, aged 35, was fined £l,. in default 24 hours’ imprisonment, for his third offence of drunkenness. Percival Richard Green, aged 45, for having behaved in a disorderly manner in Tory Street was fined £l. SeniorSergeant Ward stated that when a disturbance started in Tory Street shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday in which the wife of accused and another woman were involved, Green interfered with a constable who was present making some inquiries. Green was somewhat under the influence of liquor at the time.
