NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS
Train arrangements for the New Year Holidays are advertised in to-day’s issue. Additional suburban trains will run on December 31. A full timetable for New Year’s Day is published. Special services are provided to picnic grounds and seaside resorts during the holiday period, as well as to the sports meeting at Paraparaumu on January 1. Those desirous of patronising the races at Featherston on January 1 and 2 should note the augmented timetable. Facilities are available for patrons journeying to and from the Marton Race Meeting. Special cheap fares to the various events are featured.
