PROPOSED STATUE IN LONDON

A proposal to erect a London statue to Marshal Foch is contained in a public appeal signed by Lord Derby, Lord Hardinge, Lord Crewe, and Lord Tyrrell. The Duke of Westminster lias offered a site in Grosvenor Gardens, near Victoria Station.
