Meteorological Office, Wellington, Tuesday, November 26, 1929, 4 p.m. The denression on the Tasman Sea has developed cyclonic form, and is now centred west of Greymouth. It Is being followed by one of a similar type at present situated over the Western Tasman. Northerly to westerly north of Westport and Kaikoura; mainly south to south-east, thence southwards; moderate to strong generally. Seas rather rough on all the Western Coast and about Cook and Foveaux Strafte • elsewhere smooth or moderate. Variable winds with north to west prevailing in the northern portion, and southerlies in the southern portion; moderate to rough and confused seas. Weather dull and unsettled, with fairly general rain, and B° m e heavy falls. Cooler temperatures, more especially in the South Island.
