WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING. The Management Committee of the Wellington Cricket Association met last night, Mr. P. B. Broad presiding. Tlie Marist Club advised that owing to the shortage of players it was found difficult to maintain a third grade team, and the club desired to withdraw from the competition. It was decided to leave the matter in the hands of the third grade committee. The Canterbury Association wrote accepting the dates suggested for the annual Brabin Shield match—January 1 and 2, 1930. , , The association accepted the dates, December 26 and 27 for the playing of the Wellington-Auckland Junior Cup match at Wellington. . A junior representative match between South Canterbury ami Wellington will be played at Timaru on December oO and 31.
