NEW CHARGE AGAINST ACCUSED London, November 22. At the resumption of the hearing of the Hatry case the Crown Prosecutor announced that a new charge would be brought of obtaining £400,000 by duplicating the shares of the Drapery Trust, Associated Automatic Machines Ltd., Corporation and Retail Trade Securities, Ltd. The alleged amount was merely representative of a much larger sum. The defendants had purported to pledge or sell shares bearing identical numbers with those in the possession of the original owners. Sometimes the numbers were triplicated.
