CYCLONIC STORMS
DAMAGE IN SOUTHERN QUEENSLAND Brisbane, November 22. Cyclonic storms, accompanied by heavy hail, caused considerable damage to parts of Southern Queensland. Buildings were unroofed, fences levelled. and telephone services disrupted. A building in Brisbane was struck by lightning, and the coping cracked in three places. In the town of Red Hill a large hotel was wrecked, and the Presbyterian Church levelled to the ground. ____________
