RlOl FLIGHT AGAIN - POSTPONED (Rec. November 24, 5.5 p.m.) London, November 24. Members of Parliament were again disapopinted in their trip in RlOl. Heavy rain and a gale deterred many from going to Cardington, others taking a chance. The first hitch was when the weight connected with the lift became detached and the lift was put out of action. The last 25 guests climbed 314 steps in order to board the airship, where everybody lunched satisfactorily. It was then announced that the trip had been abandoned, firstly owing to the rain so weighting the envelope that with such a large party the ship might be overburdened, and secondly if the gale persisted it might be difficult to moor her again. _ The final decision was left with Lord Thompson, the Air Minister, who wired his apologies but said in the circumstances the flight must be postponed..
