BOXING
A HARD FIGHT HAINES DEFEATS MONSON (Rec. November 24, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, November 24. At the Stadium last night the middleweight championship title was wrested by Jack Haines ((11.14) from Ted Dlonson (11.2) by a technical, knock-out in the thirteenth round of fifteen. It was a hard fight, in which Monson took terrific punishment. Haines was in wonderful form.
